If you want more metal sinks to make them decay when off claim and reduce the support range. This means we need to build more.

You could also add a new pillar that is much bigger than the old 2 but takes like 5 bars of cast iron

We don't need metal sinks.

We need spiral quality hop nerfs, higher slag chances, flat cast iron rates that don't get any effect from mining lore/skill tree.

It doesn't matter if they're useless, Jorb and Loftar can figure out a better use than higher smelt chance alone to supplement it later if they want. That alone though makes them crazy valuable.

I'll give you a hint, it sucks.

I would also add a hostile NPC that's a cloud of poison gas that behaves like midges but deal direct HHP loss through suffocation wounds and despawn after a set time.

Also, let midges inhabit caves.
The Dwarf is making a plaintive gesture. He doesn't really care about anything any more.

Well this is one change that probably had its intended purpose.

I haven't seen rampant tunneling of underground highways yet.

Ironically, it's still pretty easy to tunnel in a relatively straight line it's just a lot harder to mine out nodes

Why would anyone build something that takes 5x as much resource but isn't 5x as large.

bigger = did not mention size.

JorbTar, this seriously sounds like straight up grade a cancer my dudes. As a casual gamer guy I can't wait to hit this fucking wall. Mining was a decent way to blow off a little steam with the side of potentially getting fucking shit on by the random slime pool or crazy ass worm or whatever.

There has to be a better way for you all to achieve whatever goal you had planned to achieve with this change.

p.s the server is down. please handle this shit, many thanks.
