Nobody studies skulls AFAIK. Spawning nids is always useless, it's not about how useful it is, it's about how much you want revenge. Right now, it's way too cheap to get a lot of revenge bypassing all walls. Not to mention how strong nidbanes are with the "hurr durr I'm a bear now" 50% red attack.

I don't know dudes, some guy took a master key from a person building their palisade and replaced a lock on one of the gates. Didn't even replace every single lock, just one. Left a few vandal and a bunch of theft and what did he get out of it? Seems like nothing since the palisade is entirely empty and no one has bothered to come back for anything. Griefing with zero reason or gain, leaving vandal and theft scents but apparently you're worried about nidbanes? And everyone is doing it?

Come on now.

What the fuck are you talking about? It's very obvious that some people don't grief for "material" pixel gains, they get material gains in order to be able to grief better. This is why people random kill, and this is also why people spawn nidbanes. You don't get pretty much anything with spawning a nidbane, you just get the sense of satisfaction that you killed the guy who killed you.

I was using a real example. Here's another: guy comes and knocks out two characters leaving battery scents and steals a few random things from newb claim. Travels around the map doing this until bored, waits the 1 hour and hearths home.

You keep saying you're concerned about nidbanes being dangerous but the in-game evidence is lacking when players continue to leave scents carelessly.

They're dangerous if someone actually sends them.

As you pointed out earlier however if someone can afford to do it, they will. There's literally no downside for the victim to send nidbanes if they have the materials to spare. That would lead me to believe if you're leaving scents but not getting any nidbanes then they can't afford to do it, which means not everyone can like you continue to insist.

everyone of our guys that have left a scents got a vist from nidbanes every day

if they dont get summoned then people cant see your scents
