So murder is bad but the mafia and drug cartels still do it and it's sometimes very hard to catch those responsible so we came up with a solution. We legalize murder. See every time someone decides to kill someone they need to pay a tax to the state and they also have to donate the dead body. This way at least the state gets something out of it. It's a sad state of affairs but otherwise people would just get murdered and the state would get nothing. I hope everyone agrees this is a sensible solution to the problem.

This is something that already happen in real world for many things, obviously not for murder...but for drugs, prostitution, etc...many others it works way much better when those things are legalized and regulated by laws than not having any regulation about it.

God, if MEMES wasn't a thing, lord knows what I'd do.

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

Yeah because potheads have a tendency to use the product they bought in further crime...

Actually changing the game mechanics and payment model requires a lot of thinking, and thinking gives people headaches. Banning everyone is so much easier.

There's a misunderstanding though, I'm not saying I need to provide suggestions because I actually have, in regards to this topic and many others. I'm just saying that not a single person has even the slightest requirement to give a solution to any problem they point out. It would be nice, sure, but it doesn't have to happen no matter the amount of bitching others might do in a thread about how someone else is bitching but doesn't provide any concrete resolution. Lol think about that one for a second.

Sway doesn't have the answers and neither do I.

All monetization is bad in one way or another.

I paid $25 to get where I am now, I can agree it's a little too op when someone like me who joins a late world and has q250+ gear/items the next day is a little too op.

eh this could already be achieved just by foraging a couple dozen blueberries and selling them in the community fair. Having high Q gear without crafting it yourself was never the problem, introducing value into the game with real life money is the problem.
