Are you sure you even know what players mean when they refer to crossroads and the specifics around their mechanics?

This is a perfect example of what someone said earlier how they didn't even realize what they voted for :D

I don't see why the devs should make all these allowances to satisfy your style of play while you think they should do nothing about anyone else's concerns or issues. If you're on foreign territory and I'm on my home turf why should you get any advantage at all in that situation?

then dont gank on such shitty times lmao what a shit argument.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

You wouldn’t say that if the situation was something like a meteor or siege where you can’t control the time that it occurs. There can be various reasons you might be put in to a position that you could have survived as long as players aren’t able instant travel across the map.

Being funneled towards a relatively small space, through obvious ocean routes people know they will be with the 50 crates of puffballs they spent the last week gathering to buy that shiny new axe.

Doesn't seem to be an issue for people in EVE. You're saying the average Jita trader is more hard core than the average haven player? No surprise there*. In fact, almost everything you've been arguing the last few pages are a non-issue. You don't need to be at every fight. The fact that people are stretching their group so thin that they have to travel two hours to get to a fight is massively overconfident. If the game was more populated, you wouldn't even try to do this because it would be a guaranteed loss of all your people ranging out that far away. I think you're trying to argue for a problem that doesn't actually exist other than the personal desire to be able to run around anywhere you want. Maybe the better argument is that "the world is too large and spread out." A world with less water content, thus not as spread out, and still able to add ocean features and such would be greater at providing fun content

*I'm trying to be jestful here, but in a way, I'm kind of serious. There's a large portion of players in EVE that won't cross those borders because of the number of ganks going on during any given day. And people lose months of work--work that can only be described as "hundreds of man hours"--in those ganks. Groups lose thousands (or more) of man hours. Some quit, some soldier on.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

This meme was brought to you by Jita IV - Moon 4.

This. I think it's less of an issue than people make it out to be. Most of it is just the same rehashed "this takes too long" diatribe people have been complaining about for as long there has been someone to listen.

Watching certain people post in this thread is reminding me of a line from the opening credits of Mythbusters. "I reject your reality and substitute my own." haha IDC if 82% of the people responding to the poll want travel changed, they're just wrong! This isn't like most other C&i threads where we're making assumptions about how the game would change or improve. We HAD fast travel before, and now we don't, and the majority of people prefer when we had it. It's a really simple concept to grasp.

Let's say hypothetically players vote in the opposite fashion, with most choosing some other form of fast travel option or choosing no and crossroads being last. Would this also be the result that "makes Haven great again" or is there only one result in your mind that can do that? Do you see what I am saying with regards to how the poll itself is skewed in favour of a certain result, not only by title but by offering poor options without clear explanation of what a "Crossroads" even is. Based on Lyrroth's posts I'm not even sure the people that voted have any clue what they are voting for which is politics in a nutshell funnily enough.

It doesn't matter if they're voting for crossroads themselves specifically, because a large portion also just voted to re-add fast travel in general. There's a really clear divide between "travel sucks" and "travel is fine" and the poll clearly shows how people feel about that. Just accept that people like you that think we should walk everywhere uphill both ways are the minority.

Where did all you retards come from I literally said word for word in this thread that some form of fast travel improvement is fine, I've suggested that whirlpools could be spread out more around the map, what the fuck do you want from me bro to suck your fucking dick too while I'm at it? You need to go do a few more laps around the track, fuckin rookie.
