Taking a step back for useless tedium™ isn't a fucking novel idea. Keep in mind not everyone is going to have 50 trollhide belts to spare at the start of next world.

you dont need 50, you would only need 1 per farmer and it doesnt even need to be a trollhide belt. a farmer could have a scythe, another farming tool and 2 travelers sacks and switch between them easily with a grand belt and its 3 slots.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

the troll hide belt holds a crap ton of tools. why NOT make the tools. also, this way, if you have a person doing a specific task, like tending to root crops, they have their own tool.
