Was about to post a thread on this, found this.

Bringing it straight back to the modern era.


My suggestion was going to allow it to be a 'roofing' material rather than 'thatching' material, and just have all buildings accept any roofing material (of which, all thatching materials qualify for).

I'd say "could have some more houses that only want hard roofing materials" but naturally, modular buildings etc etc. But yeah, we have all sorts of nice colorful clays now. Lemme make houses outta 'em. (bricks too)
