If you wanted to follow the development of buildings like we do with tools and weapons in the game, like having to go through making stone tools up to nicer metal ones. Historically I don't think wind mills showed up for a long long time in scandinavia or anywhere for that matter. Mainly animal and water powered mills were the norm in the beginning


Powered by human is quern. One and only one real mill would be a good start, they have other things to develop / fix...

anyhing built on water would end with jordancoles abusing it to block things i think
but yeah oh god imagine the sweet larpiness of a watermill next to pretty village :roll:

Put that Windmill model to work jorby. Just add some simple grinding mechanics and it will be great

Good idea. Currently I believe flour q depends on the seeds as well as farm & dex (?).
Would this mean it just goes of the quality of the seeds?
If so the windmill needs to be more expensive than other buildings since it removes the level requirement for certain qualities without having the req. levels.
If it is determined by the person initiating the windmill then the current prices are fine in my opinion. Not sure where I see the metal in a windmill though, but I guess you're just trying to make it a bit expensive.
