I can't see how it is a good thing, though I do agree over alt vaulting per se.

So, how many noobs do you know, who would altvault everything valuable they have? If the raider will get inside of their place, they will loose a lot regardless. Seen people keeping their gold, tokens, sketches and dev capes in their cupboards.
And I'm repeating myself. There are Nidbanes, there will be future implementations to restrict the loss of industry, you won't lose your animals already. It gets to an absurd point, where there is no reason to siege a village at all then, if people are going to altvault their stuff. Why to bother with implementing anything related to the siege system at all then?
I mean it might be a necessity if you are raiding a town. But as Tech has kindly pointed out, it is impossible to differ who is a new player, and who is a pro.Amanda44 wrote:So, you mean this feature would only be available during a raid? Or to use on actual villages/towns?
Only I was thinking of players who hadn't even got a claim up yet, let alone a wall and who keep everything valuable to them in their inventory.

As for middle-tier and small villages, J&Lo seem to intend to make the sieging that expensive that raiding them would be a bad idea in terms of time and fun.
LadyGoo wrote:As for me, I have not seen noobs without claims, who would store their valuables inside of their inventories or on alts. Most of the new players tend to put their precious stuff inside of in-game containers.
LadyGoo wrote:J&Lo were interested in the idea of puting locks on containers. If it would take quite a while to open one or require some resourses, most of the raiders would not bother with touching noob's curios.

I know there will be ways to avoid people sneaking to your hf. However, there will be at least a chance for a reward.
People will use multiple fresh accounts and assign as main the strongbox alts.SiO2 wrote:I don't mind, but! The main charachter inventory should stay safe any way. For avoiding a cheating, let the game choose main. (most developed one, for example)
