parry and shield should cost coins + new melee defences

I like the idea of a 2h move that when it depletes shield up defense bar, it also does HP damage to the shield item itself. So the shield user can only block this ability so much before shield his shield is destroyed and then he cannot use shield up. (this follows up my other thread where shields have armour that only effects arrows dmg)

Down side is people carrying an inventory full of shields, BUT I think equipping shields mid fight might need to be disabled currently anyway as its pretty OP if say my archer had a macro to switch bow to shield when being attacked.

you can make that you can only carry a shield only in your equip like buckets full of water, you cannot put them in inventory
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

No.

Add like 5s binding time when equipping stuff under aggro, you don't get any benefits of the gear until this timer is up.

Steal thunder is god in 1v1s because the one you're targeting is either stacking coins or doing nothing to you, and it's the lowest CD attack. But in group fights the enemy might be stacking coins on your friend and you can't use thunder so you just stand around like a mascot.

I really rather just rework this entire combat system in its entirety than trying to make it work. There's too many flaws that I just hate.

loling heartily. How is this guy considered good again?
If what you're saying had a shred of truth to it, then literally every single PvPer in the game right now wouldn't be equipped with the exact same shit (Sword & Shield).
Unarmed doesn't have anything on MC. MC gets better spammable defenses (which doesn't even matter since unarmed can't even do shit to anybody wearing steel armor), as well as instant kill 300+ damage attacks. It has unarmed beat on all fronts.
