its the only thing in the game right now that discourages botting even if just a little thanks to the high exp cost.

I dont see any issue with xp cost.
You can autostudy mirkwoods 24/7 and no problems with xp.

If we remove mirks then your removing a main source of LP. like i understand your frustration with them i hate them too but i don't want to see them removed cause they are our only chance of standing up to people who claimed icicle nodes at early game or have insane luck at finding forageables. Mirks take alot of the luck out of the game but if you remove them then all of a sudden its no longer who puts in the time to be good at the game it becomes who was lucky enough to be good at the game.

Mirks need a hefty nerf or removal. They were originally put in the game to help early development. But now it gives 2-3k an hour, and creates a disadvantage to those who can't leave a pc running all night. It needs to be drastically nerfed in LP amount, so it's still great for getting started, but becomes unneccesary later in the game.

Curios need to get gradually worse as you use them. Cuase think about it that would make sense it would make it so that things like mirkwoods and other things that were ment to help you in early game would but then would suck in late game. It also would make sense cuase in real life if you study the same thing your not gonna learn the same amount each time. The more you study it the more you know till edventually your no longer learning anything about. So it would make sense for all curios to get gradually worse depending on how much you use them. Still don't wanna see them removed tho cuase mirks are the only thing i have for early game.

I wish people would stop taking the mirk problem and pretending it's a problem with all curios and has to be solved with a fix to the curio system.

The curio system could be improved. But the curio system has nothing to do with why mirks are a problem. Mirks are a problem because they are fing unbalanced. To fix mirks, change mirks. Don't bring other curios into it.

I personally feel that all the other curios are more of a problem and that mirkwoods are somewhere near where they should be, if you remember in the old version of H&H there were many good curios to study and in abundance but in this version if feels like mirkwoods are one of the very few worth studying. Cat gold, petrified seashell, strange crystals, mantles, spiders, are all rarer than mirkwood offerings yet not worth studying unless you have like 50+ intelligence, enough room for them and are already studying mirkwood at the same time.

while we are at it lets also remove ants feather trinkets, all seers curios, strawdolls, bat wings and all other curios to prevent people from getting too ahead of other too, actually why not remove the whole curiosity system and make it so everyone gets the same amount of lp with time, and to prevent new people for falling behind make it soe each time some new character is made lp is taken from all players until the new one have the same amount of lp, also remove pvp and death so people dont fall behind

If all curios took 23h to compleet we would'nt have to AFK 2'4/24 ( good for the population stat, bad for the planet ).

I am fine with mirkwoods, as I am a humble sausagemaker and wine maker who needs them just to get some LP, plus I use default client. However they should add in a system where if you're not doing anything except studying for 5 minutes you get automatically logged off, ruins autostudies for a while
