I have to admit that I kind of don't get what the big deal is, so feel free to point out whatever systems or features are the deal breakers for you.
- I have an older machine so the lag is much worse with the graphic eye candy I can't turn off.
- no warning about the presence of other players nearby, making it very dangerous to leave the base.
- No q display and auto sorting, auto moving item, making it too time consuming to manage q items like wax, silk cocoons, leather, metal bars, stone...... far too time consuming, and if not that very irritating when, crafting food, picking curio to study, crafting... well anything.

- no livestock manager
- no radius for mine supports
- a minimap the size of a needle head
- no indicator of valuable items near by (rare curio, cave clay...), or dangerous objects like catas or bears.
- no clear indicator of: tree growth, object damage, crop stage
mildly annoying
- the camera
- the fonts
- the way item completion is displayed for curio in study report/items in oven/kiln...
- curio time in in game hours not realm hours/ no ready lp/hour value
- no ability to place select objects on the minima (trees, bushes, boulders)
Basically every change in amber is positive. For me i'd need all items from the first group and at least some from the second to consider vanilla playable (but still worse then amber)
