Never actually tried it but I don't see why that wouldn't work, it doesn't care who started the fight only that one is happening. And what if the person who attacked you isn't the one to evict you? Use your brain plz.

I was under the impression that when you're attacked by someone you won't leave scents within that fight - which would actually make sense - so in case you're sainting around you might get evicted for a free hearthing home, but not knocked out.

Or do you leave scents through being attacked? If so then this should change.

You wouldn't leave an assault scent since you didn't start the fight but I can't remember if switching between multiple targets causes you to re-aggro that person and leave an assault scent. If you knock them out or murder them you still leave scents.

You don't leave a battery scent either if you weren't the one who initiated the combat relation. You still leave murder scents if you go that far, though. And the same thing is indeed true for evictions; you only get the option if you don't have a combat relation with the target that you initiated.
