Again, palibashing will mostly be used to insta-raid sprucecap hermits, and enabling it will lead to new players being forced to join some major faction or leave the game after a month or so into a new world.

mostly leave... The game teaches you to be paranoid from the most start, so u should survive for a long time to decide to join someone.

Because, if Palibashing is a thing, then "anyone" (except sprucecaps) will try to brickwall their base ASAP.

Come on. It's not rocket science.

It just makes raiding noobs easier. Bashing to noobs place and killing them while they log off scared is not very good pvp I'd say.
Adding back palibashers effectively makes all worlds completely unplayable by new players after first months.
Also building brickwalls is pain in the ass.
Most people on forum that want palibashers back would just bot themselves brickwalls

I agree with you, partialy. It should be easier for capped, high-end player to raid a complete noob than another high-end player, right now its basically the same.

It makes sense in multiple ways, sure, but do we really want all the rare new players burned at the altar of realism?

That is a hard question but it would be nice to make a difference between palisades and brickwalls thinking about that I stood upon a good idea, maybe palisades should be very slowly losing their soak so after like 2 weeks they become bashable with capped strenght and then slowly becoming bashable with lower STR, stopping at some point. That would give players enough time to build a brickwall and would prevent fully developed players to live in palisades forever becouse they're cheaper.

Wow an actual fair suggesting. Good job (no sarcasm).

As much as I would hate making a brick wall, it seems fair.

Only reason why ozzy wants this is so he can raid people that didnt know brickwall is necessary.
