Truth be told I think conflating using a custom client with doing something against the rules shows a fundamental disinterest in understanding what is and is not allowed.

I shouldn't talk about custom clients. Let's keep talking about decay. Thx

Idk why you are so mad. Thx for yuor comments. Cheers

You're not interested in listening for feedback given you blew off everything that Ysh saying he's just mad.

Why add something to the game for the sake of adding it to the game, as Ysh aptly put? Decay already happens very fast IMO. If you're worried about having the mystique of discovery ruined for you by the actions of other players (or in this case inaction given they're not online and letting their stuff decay) maybe you should have some self control and avoid taking things from ruins? Not that it would do anything other than remove structures that add to the aesthetic of the game given they'd be picked clean of items by other groups the instant the shield went down. Seriously, there's nothing remotely good about this idea.

Cause, in my opinion:
1) they ruin the feeling of the game (hearthfires everywhere...most of all if the aim of this game will be to last years without a world reset)
2) old hearthfires don't allow new building for other players
3) many abandoned claim will result too easily spoiling the game for new players (should be a rare thing...finding an ancient tool from the past, or something like that...right now you can walk 30 minutes and find late game items with a new char)

I'm ok with ruins of other players who played before you (old houses, crops, etc...) but i think more advanced items should decay a bit faster ( and items in general, but not buildings), after your claim expires.
In general i'm ok if you can interact with them, so a new player can always shape the location as he prefer. Hearthfires, right now, don't allow that...they will be there forever.
In my opinion is something that should be improved in the future.

If you like as it is, i'm ok with that too and thx to have shared your opinion about.

If you don't like them, break them. "They ruin my immersion" could very well be "It makes the game immersive" to someone else. That's not an argument.

See above.

Ruined structures should be there as frequently as they're abandoned. How would artificially maintaining or removing structures stop the game from being "spoiled". I'm sorry, but other people play this game too. And even still, there's no way in hell you're finding anything that is going to push you leagues ahead of where you are unless you're incredibly lucky. Which is exactly what you're saying.

Personally, I think abandoned villages add to the aesthetic of the game. Which is the same non-argument you present above for hearthfires.

You've ignored just about everything anyone has said in this thread and presented an inordinate number of strawman arguments to prop up your "But Haven should be designed for me specifically, fuck what anyone else thinks" position.

I guess you are trolling me in some way :D , but i cannot understand cause my bad English (and maybe you are even the same guy as before :D ) not allowing to talk about decay system.
If you have some constructive ideas about you are free to discuss it, otherwise there is no point for you to stay on this topic.
We are neither me nor you to decide about the game, devs decide as they please.
In this section of the forum we can suggest what we would like for the game, and in this Topic i wrote what I would like, not what you would like. If you don't like this idea, you can always open your own topic with your ideas.
I don't go in others suggestion post saying i don't like their ideas... we are suggesting ideas for devs not for you, so they can get ideas, and they will decide if is good or no for their gameplay.
It's why i asked you before why you are so mad about.....life is hard sometimes, no problem dude. See you, Cheers

Oh thx, EDIT, SOLVED:
Strenght=(Soak +1 - tool damage)^2

For hearth fire soak is 5, stone axe damage is 1 = (5+1-1)^2 = 25 strenght
