can always go down the Tycoon type of game route, like Transport Tycoon where you could build railroads in this manner (A)

just have to add 1 more model for each wall type that would only work for 45 deg angles from the corner posts or from a straight extension. Though it is also possible to build 2nd diagonal section in those games as shown in (B) on the same tile, but i guess if the collision box would cover the whole tile for those sections, then it would be impossible to build dual diagonal wall section on the same tile, which i think is actually good.

Circles sound difficult. Im pretty sure that there's reason why we dont have those.

Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.

Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

I know this is an old post, but rather than starting a new thread for an old idea, I thought it better to add my +1 here and add PLEASE? The material and labor cost of the workaround pictured in the quote below is quite prohibitive.

I guess one could use it to build a wall system that is not cardinally directed but still with only right angles, at least, but that seems a fair bit less useful.

This.

While it says interesting, employing floating-point accuracy in building non-cardinally-directed fences and walls presents practical difficulties when working with parts that have fixed lengths. Installation becomes more complex when unevenly set up walls must exactly connect to cornerposts without portions of varying lengths. While it might be possible, agility may be limited by a wall system that has right angles but non-cardinal sense of direction. In design or gaming contexts, the key to successfully adopting such features is striking a balance between design complexity and practical. [https://ssoidportal.org/]sso login[/url]
