Through LadyGoo's method she's saying small villages/hermits can just trade for high q seeds from the bigger factions later on in order to keep up, I'm saying it shouldn't work that way and yet you responded with the above post to me instead of her.

And I'm saying that it's just my opinion that it'd be more fair for new players? I'm sorry but that's just my opinion Kaios. You don't need to lambaste me for that.

What Kaios is saying that what you were criticizing him for was actually Goo's words.

I mean... I appreciate all the posts even though it resulted in a bit of fighting :P We all have different opinions and ideas, of course. That's alright.

These are just ideas, though - in the end of the day it's their call, not ours.

So if there's only one useful thing we can get from here, which was my intention from the start, is that we can at least agree that it would be interesting to see the old soil still having an use, right? :D

You mistake discussing for fighting? Why?

I meant arguing, when people derail to justify their words or explain themselves they're not really discussing the subject anymore. Like you did and I did in return now

>_>

I see what you did there.

When men talk, they give to each other their conclusion. If we give to each other the same conclusion, there is no problem. But what if this conclusion is different? You will have them just walk away? This does not increase understanding or help to find truths. These conclusion are base on some premise. Men must speak of the premise and work through the logic to get to their conclusion. I think to discuss this premise must not be considered derail, because you must discuss this premise to discuss this conclusion, and this conclusion is the topic.

Alright, I'd have used different words but I agree with your point, I didn't mean to disencourage the discussion as I did and so I apologize.

We may move on, now

Huh. You know that's surprisingly insightful Ysh. It is important and helpful to listen to other peoples' points of views to get a well-rounded perspective. Glad you value conversation, there's nothing worse than an echo chamber tbh.

Yes, I got ahead of myself thinking it would derail and wanted to intervene unecessarily, so I'm glad he spoke up as well.

But beyond all that now, I was thinking about the subject and came with a question that I don't know the answer of: what is the highest quality you can find natural soil of? Like... I've seen q45~ soil in this world but never more than that.
Is there a limit? Have any of you found soil better than this - if so, what Q was it?

Just something that I'm now curious about.

Te highest average quality out of any of the natural resources (clay, water, soil) that i'd ever found is ~55. certain nodes i've found have one of the E/S/V values at 60-65. but i've never seen anything above that. not that 70+ average nodes arent out there, but they're just absurdly uncommon.

It takes a bit of time and exploration, but they're definitely around.
