You might want to explain this to jorb. Because that goes directly against the stated update in the KO>Hearthfire update. No single attack should ever be able to kill a player, only KO them. Depending on the % hhp damage values it's possible to 2hit kill someone with this system.

We're talking from full HHP right? I'm aware someone who goes out with <20% hhp left can get killed.

oh it was patched out? You used to be able to 1 hit kill someone if the grievous damage the weapon did exceeded their health

For purposes of calculating grievous damage from an attack, no attack counts as dealing more damage than your maximum HP. For example: An attack wants to deal 30% grievous damage, and the attack would deal 500 points of damage. The target's maximum HP is 300. The attack will, thus, deal (300 * 0.3 = 90) points of grievous damage.

Dude this is so unbelievably incorrect, the unarmed attacks are more useful for dealing damage in a fight than the melee attacks are right now. So while technically you're right in that the unarmed attacks don't actually kill anyone I guarantee you'd be hard pressed to do so without some combination like flex/uppercut.

I'll tell you right now that this doesn't work. I don't care about how they think it works or how it's supposed to work, it just doesn't.

Document it and show them then? Slap down a wilderness beacon and murder an alt inside the safety of a base for science.

I know I don't have enough damage to deal 100hhp grievous with my current gear. Still only a month old.

stickman wrote:evidence of what? people still dying? I was told DIS killed 3 fighters like today or yesterday. I heard they KO'd a bunch of DIS before they died... which brought me to post this actually. i am not sure how they feel about dying whether they started the fight with super low HHP... but the fact that you beat your opponents and they just get KO'd when previously you would have killed them is stupid... so instead of being a fight with casualties on both sides you have a one side land slide, and the guys who lived but got KO'd now cannot do anything for awhile or they will die to... So they will have to use alts, not participate or risk dying when their opponents will risk nothing.

Eager to see more evidence with numbers. With what SHP/HHP/MHP did those hearthlings start the fight who later got killed? If something like 200/200/500, then it's no surprise. If more like 500/500/500, it looks like an obvious bug.

Fine I did a few tests so make what you will of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmskne5dc60&list=PLafT1kKK4m_PmEFctq-pH735lQx5y5jUB

The combat alt I'm using is only 59/100 str/agi and quality of the b12 that I used for most of the tests is q85. First test I used a sword q200+ and the tests in which I have a sword and shield on the sword is only q72.

Overall I'm not sure why grievous damage is applied twice to finishing blows and keep in mind a player that is actually well armored and defending will lose more hhp in a fight over time than the alts I've tested on.

nice video child hood obesity :D

ya, the wounded chars should die and pretty sure bjorn intended it work that way as a punishment for getting koed, so people can't just hop on the battlefield once after they get koed once immediatly or they risk to lose their char. Bjorn's feature works as intended and i don't get what this OP whiny wannabe pvper kid is on about hello?
