As far as tweaking current combat, I'd like to see IP removed. Maybe replace it with requirements for certain opening levels on target, and have the cards greyed out when unavailable.

Salem's combat is timing based, but there is zero fluidity to it which is kind of a big deal in such systems. Basically it feels like playing DotA with a console controller. And the whole biles system at it's core is hideous.

yeah, salem's combat is way more skillfull than the current one where the outcome of the fight is determined who has the highest stats and I mentioned about its fluidity in OP. " Basically it feels like playing DotA" is that your excuse why it makes the current system better than the salem's one, what does it have to do with my suggestion, you're retarded my dear friend and what does biles has to do with my suggestion.

we need stone forts and such with better siege mechanics more than better combat. and don't say 'better combat = siege'

imo we need more moves and weapons to add some more 'arcane' element to combat for that 'surprise' and interrupting your opponents 'flow'

meh, id oppose a system in which you hit a key to attack or run or anything like that.. if thats the case make it so you can use a controller.. the combat to me might need alil change but its not as bad as what most people say... why make haven like every other game?? thats what makes this one stand out. i think Haven has improved ALOT since i first played in world 5. Good job jorb and lofter, keep up the good work. :D
