wats is broken in food system imho:
1. charisma alts gives 3% hunger w\o symbel
2. hard pepper farm
3. not enough drinks (poultry, game , nuts, mushrums)
4. no good FEP recipes for nuts, mushrums & etc
5. eat more STR'AGI'CON to collect more salt to eat more STRAGICON
6. low profit to eat 1000 int dex will psy

I think satiations were a great idea, only they're very difficult to reset. I would say if you want to keep them, let the penalties "decay" over time. Like 1% per day or something as long as you don't get a hit from eating foods in that category. Or even an anti-satiation system where there's a chance for a food to decrease a penalty in a category or categories, while still having its original penalties.

because that's literally it, you just drink something and it goes back to normal


There could be a nutrition system where if you keep all of your nutritions up then you get a boost in FEP or the amount of FEPs you need to level a stat is lower.

hunger satiations

useless mechanic, i am pretty sure it was meant to be implemented so botters and nolifers couldn't gain stats too fast, but they can just ignore them pretty much with cupboards of salt/drinks. It punishes early game/new players way too much and makes them feel frustrated.

hunger definitely does, what with 300% and 200%
idk about food satiations but they are annoying, suppose to stop a guy from eating 100 of the same food type though. lategame, drinks counter that

i think this because with food satiations, you could've ate beets for a day/week as a newb and completely destroyed your palate for all meat/sausage (i don't think you get sick of beets though)

late game though, satiations becomes tedium and/or a side game what with drinks and more micromanaging/maths on foods than most people want

Should arguably be reworked, but I like the system in some sense. Again, any system we add is arbitrary.
