And why so?

Because some rednecks say this in random low quality youtube video?

The video is quite old, from a time before electronic picture stabilizers.

Very interesting video, I wasn't aware of this sort of thing. However I don't think this level of realism would make it into Haven, but maybe someday. Thanks for the knowledge regardless!

what if there was a certain kind of tool that allowed the ground to be plowed with a horse/cows help? it would make plowing alil faster and it would not use up stamina. just idea

Yes, I agree animal driven farm machinery should be a thing. It could heavily tax the energy of animals, and energy could affect food consumption rates and whether or not they can mate.
No, I don't think we need a new thread every time someone realizes animals can pull a plow.

Actually the reason why i think incorperating animals into farming is a good idea, is that it makes farming A LOT harder to bot.

Seems like top factions need a 12h carrot bot to compete in a quality race.

Plowing is a one-time thing though.

not true, sometimes you have to plow to lay brick or stone, also im pretty sure the plowed gound will disappear after a while if not used.

what would be cool is if they had a wagon of some sort that for example, you use it with horse and as you harvest wheat for example it picks it up and puts into wagon or something and as it gets a full stock pile inside wagon( or riding device), it automatically drops it and starts a new stock pile inside untill that one gets full and is dropped as well. this would be perfect for pumpkins which are a pain in the ass toi harvest as it is.. :D

... yeah just don't get me started on the importance of windrows, no windrows + tilling = massive soil loss. not that that's a worry when your field's surrounded by a palisade... :geek:
