Benefit on cheese is not only passiveness.

Try calculating ''FEPs per hour'' one time and then come back to this thread.

At first it seemed like you may be pretending but now you're proving you're actually retarded.

Not that it matters, but I'm not for poland, ty cwel 8-)

cheese is shit for the demand put into it

animals are not worth it besides cheese and horses for combat

animals eat too much for even a large village to maintain them

it's just kind of annoying, isn't the point very clear? you're the one shitting up a suggestion with "LOL CANT HANDLE IT BRO DONT DO IT LOL SPRUCE CAP HAHA RIGHT BRO" get the fuck out

No it isn't clear.

You're crying about ''I find this not worth it''

Solution: don't do it.

I'm not shitting your suggestion but in every game you have lazy cunts like you who suggests things which boil down to ''make it easier because I'm a pleb who has to talk about someone else his ability to speak English when I get on forums'' .

You're just a noob who doesn't know shit and therefore hates on animals because you cannot utilize what the game gives you properly. And therefore deem it as inefficient. I wonder if you are actually trying to say something or your entire forum account is 1 big troll post spread over various threads.

''Hurr durr have to wait for cheese 2 weeks'' (or whatever time it is.)

Start batch of X amount every day.
On day 14 you get back cheese X.
On every following day you will get a batch of equal size.
Can you say you invested the time equally when you got a continuous batch system going instead of making cheese like a retard by setting it up - waiting two weeks - make new one - complain on forums in between cheese is inefficient.

Once again you're replying with pure shit Massa the shitposter, show me your FEP calculation of supposed caught animals per hour and what not.

If you reply with anything else it's just spam to boost your shitter postcount

We manage with a village of 5, even having had 3 pregnant cows at one point. 2 of our members are inactive so really we manage with a village of 3.

*Sigh* we're just too pro.

500 seeds? that's stupid low lol
so feeding your herd on a 10x5 field isn't enough?
as a hermit, i don't like having to regularly check food on animals so instead i grew a field of 50x10 pumpkins this week, i usually do 10x15 so 5 stockpiles. this will produce 500 pumpkins which each pumpkin produces 1.6l of swill, 500 seeds = 1l. 1 pumpkin = 800 seeds of feed. i keep my feed in cisterns as they will hold 10 food troughs of food, i believe. i use the area from the village idol to farm on, i use the underground for management of animals and crafting. pregnant animals eat a lot more btw. they eat less when not producing milk as well, such as forgetting to milk for a week

problems with it, time and quality of feed

quality: pumpkins is low so i push it up to an acceptable level with high quality seeds. this way i can control the quality up to a point, give the chickens/rabbits/milk animals lower quality fodder until i cycle out the low quality animals. but you need something with high quality, using carrots is easiest to get high quality as they can be turned over daily, just harvest at the 3rd cycle for 1 carrot. harvest at 4/5th cycle for feed or increasing the field

time: get a scythe, it lowers stamina and time needed to harvest. after trading for a high quality scythe (holy crap, 307q) i can harvest a large field, 20x10, with only drinking 1-2l of water. it's now automatic too, no need to right-click each plant individually which was the way long ago
if you don't like how often you feed, build multiple food troughs. i keep 2-3 feed troughs so i only refill every other week, if that
milking animals can store up to 25l (lol) of milk each, you don't have to milk daily

Untrue I believe.

I think the only difference that exists is 4,5 food units per day vs 45 when pregnant.
After one birth cow will go back to eating 4,5 per day while producing milk.

Massa I'm still waiting for your FEP hunting calculations you shitter, bet they won't come because if you are actually able to work out the numbers (which I doubt) you'll realize you're full of shit. 8-)

what is harder about harvesting a 20x20 field than a 10x10?

This is C&I folks. It's a place to express critiques and idea about the game, no matter how outlandish they might seem. Keep the conversation civilized. Opinions are going to differ.

If you have a point to prove to the devs, some numbers might be in order and not just a "I think it's too much." Opinions matter, but hard numbers count more.

Personally, I've given up on managing more than chickens and rabbits on my hermitages. Yeah, it slows character development, but the taming system and feeding of animals is too much of a pain in the ass for one person to manage, but then I decided clear back in world 6 that animals just sucked down too much food for one person to handle (without bots). If I buy an animal, it's for slaughter, not to breed and raise more of them. I'd personally rather just buy a chest full of meat.

However, I do enjoy that aspect of the game. It's a juggle in getting all the numbers up along with the ones you want, kind of like being the early man that figured out you can breed cows to produce milk or you can breed them to produce better steaks. It's not just something I want to do solo.

IMO, "*** quantity" should raise food eaten making it even harder to keep large numbers of high producing animals. Real fact is that larger animals need more calories per day to maintain weight.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

For me it's the same, except i often keep, now, a horsie and very few other animals, if i can: a bull and a cow, and one-two sheeps and a ram, keeping the number down to this level. This gives me enough milk not to worry too much to go around and farm for clovers, gives also some good meat, wool and all byproducts, and a bull is good to have as a pack animal too.
Until the rabbits got reworked, i prolly won't keep them as they breed incredibly slow (especially for beign an animal that in RL is known to literally spawn)
