By the time a raid starts, if you have plenty wood/stone/clay you can just keep making beacons until your claim is down and by that time there's only junk left and rest is in inventories of alts.
Yeah, exactly ... my main goal with this post. Remove the "magic" of logged out chars inventories and also make the world more "active", with wars and fights, cause yes, raid should be difficult, but should be rewarding too.
So, having not seen any better idea about how to solve this I try to thrown at you a different way to look at this, so maybe we can discuss further and find a solution, so:
What if a "war declaration" is added to the game?
Something like you can declare war at claims, hearthfires, chars ... then you have some time to react, move away, etc ...
So once the "war declaration" is complete the things we were saying could take effect: summon the player in the game once hf destroyed, etc ...
This could replace the drying time of siege weapons also and so on ...
I think a "war declaration" thing could be the possible solution to improve how the system works right now, but it needs further disccussion abut how it should work in every regard, what the cost, etc ...
Let me know if you have some cool ideas about.
P.S. Would be cool also if someone declare war on you, you can pay him with items/stuff to remove the war declaration effect, like a submission thing .... but then the value and quantity of items/stuff needed to remove the war declaration status would increase more and more at the attacker will, untill, eventually, you cannot pay it anymore ... and the fight will start .... cool, I see lot of potential ... maybe it could start asking for 100 FEP worthed food, or 1000 LP worthed curiosities ... and then scaling up.
