It was the stress of riding the Hype Train... <choo choo>. It's a long, bumpy ride that doesn't go fast enough, yet leaves you feeling like you've just gotten off the world's fastest roller coaster.

I'm in agreement a mailing list would be good, as there are several decent games I've played around with in beta testing that I regestered for. I just can't follow stuff around like that, and never did... If it wasn't for the email, I'd have never played the game... some I ended up buying into, some just weren't worth what the company was charging.

They do have a Facebook page where they post update notifications, if you're into that

A humble and simple request from an old player.

Postby cyrus9586 » Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:25 am

So last world reset I had a plan. A plan to work hard and build a good village. Things went great. Had found a place where there was q40+ water and 55+ clay at start. Soil Q was a modest q35. The plot was huge and I had learned enough to make sure a friend and I had the best chance to get this off the ground. Things went great...for a month... My RL went to HELL fast. In the space of 1 week I lost my fiance (she went nuts literally) my home, 90% of my stuff, my job, and moved 300 miles so I could live with family and get help.

Fast forward to this year. Job that pays 2x as much and a better home etc and I want to get back into H&H. Not going to run a village this time as though I get 3 days off a week, yet still work 42 hours a week, I don't have the time to micro manage a village. BUT I want to start at a world start again. These happen roughly yearly and we are getting close to that mark again.

So here is my request cause I don't get a lot of time to check the forum. I need someone who will let me know when a reset happens.

Yup that's it. A simple "Hey H&H reset." is all I need. Anyone willing to do that?

Please Jerbo and Lerfto

Just send one singular email to your playerbase next world that says:
"world reset"

Hell, you could make the subject title "world reset" and leave the body blank, people will start crawling out of the woodwork

I have to be 100% honest. The thought of raiding abandoned claims is tempting as all hell BUT i ended up doing that last world. Found TONS of loot but by the time I got it all sorted and back to my base...World reset.

There's a sticky thread for all world reset discussions.

not really wanting to discuss it just asking someone to let me know when it happens. Email or something.

I wouldn't mind this, but loftar doesn't like it.

If loftar doesn't like the idea to "spam" users, then make this option turned off by default - it's like that on every decent service. You are suggested to subscribe, not subscribed automatically :)
