I think it would be fine to set-up a bot that would log in to a claim and take curios from a nearby cb. In Legacy, alts were capable of running inbetween houses and collect curios. Moreover, since there is such danger, it would make the upkeep even easier for us, baddies. We would have to make bots and alts, therefore, remember to run it properly. What a lovely idea!

this game is getting more and more automated, game gonna become a movie soon where everything is done by a.i and we just watch. seems like thats what you all want since anything remotely time consuming is "bad" game design. i think you're a bit too used to your bots doing everything for you lol.

Not really.
Making content is difficult.
Making content that consumes lot of players time is good game design, because then you have to do less content, while players have more to spend their time on.
You just have to find the right balance on the time that things consume.

I see nothing wrong in harvesting the entire field by 1 click. Don't you feel it's a lovely thing to have, darling?

well your'e right but its 2 different things, you cant put mindlessly clicking on tiles to harvest in the same boat as having to maintain your global claims by at least getting on to them once a week. i dont mind auto farming or auto mining but once your alt starts eating/drinking/running/stockpiling/hauling you get an unfair advantage over people that do all those things themselves and waste time on it. after all whats the point of playing the damn game once everything becomes automatic.

I don't wanna waste my time on visiting claims that are used by others people while I have my own chores to do, which are not automatic.

said what? you guys made no valid points beside "dont nerf the mechanic that im using" and "time consuming noooo!" its silly to have 9 claims and not have to ever go maintain them. besides if its frequent places you go to you shouldn't ever have trouble with this mechanic.

Where's the point in them being yours then, when you don't visit (=use) them?

The whole reasoning of the idea is that, should you want to claim something not to use it but to deny others from using it, it should take more effort.
