This is true and its sad. The most important changes to the most imbalanced mechanics in game have to wait months or even over a year.
The problem with stat based changes is the people who knew how to grind before can get intense gains, while those who didn't are left in the dust if the mechanic is nerfed. Jorb knows food efficacy and questing are pretty broken, but if he changes it this world anyone who starts a new character or dies is just completely and utterly screwed if they try to be competitive, and they quit.
