Would mean that you at least would have to simulate an actually played character with it (whatever that may imply) - instead of dropping a claim, showing up 8h later and clicking 'fill'.5. Having to be on a claim doesn't fix either, as even now, people just simply leave the alt where it is with/without cabin, loading it desk somewhere else manually, with other char.
Which, in another place, I already argued for this to be removed - stealing from study desk is fine and can stay, being able to put curios on a foreign one is just abused for alt farms and needs to go.
I would agree with a mechanic that allows an inherited character a somewhat convenient way to get back on the kin lists of the ancestors kins (prooving inheritance, so it gets the same color as before) though.
But for a personal claim IMHO actually living and working there should be the only way to gain presence.
Yeah, but even if I don't have time to play, because reasons, I just log to fed animals of mine / friends and I end up scoring 1-5 events. Even without exiting my own, it's often 1 to 3. Unless You put a specific tedious one, but all we know how it works and people cry (me included) how some are hard to experience / reset / have bad luck getting those or whatever it decides to happen.
As I can see totally people loading alt claims study desks, I've seen in some nice villages (not much of those like that but I don't have information about whole world) where people actually legit use that, that's pretty much true. Still, It doesn't do a lot of work to craft several chests, put some long-time study curios onto them, of one type best (or if You make it in any case "harder", will change to several long study ones), it won't change nothing beside wasting time on jorbtar time, unless it's a 5 minutes fix.
