There's nothing wrong if barrels will be rolled instead of lifted. In the end we will receive same method for moving barels (by action) and with same moving speed penalty. But should devs focus on that animation instead of other things?

Should devs focus on a new herb or a bird? Probably no but it will be nice for smaller updates. No reason to not post these small ideas just because we actually want lag fix.
It'd be cool to have a new animation every other patch, instead of a new smol 'useless' bird. Or even every other other patch, idk how lengthy it can be. herbs im down for having more often.
Ye fair enough. From what I saw on the live streams, Jorb can just go back to the existing 'skeletons' of the animals and stuff and move it around for a new animation. Maybe the same for hearthlings?

To make animations you just move the model that you have already done before. So it definitely is less work than making the model and then animating. I can't say how time-consuming it is to make good animations. I guess some things are easier than others and also skills of the animator matter a lot.

Some barrel animation would be cool even if there were no mechanic changes from the current barrel mechanics.
