why you ttry to outrun animal ?
u can drop combat, then find animal by their tracks (not yet implemented) and ambush it again !

This is demonstrably false, punch is still my primary weapon of attack against most animals. Sting/Chop makes it easier but is hardly required. With sufficient patience and care, you can kill just about anything (of the animal kingdom) with punch.

This means that server should track stamina value for every animal per frame which can be expensive.
Give a man a game engine and he delivers a game. Teach a man how to make a game engine and he never delivers anything.

dunno i think it could be implemented. in reality how many animals are going to be fleeing from player combat at any given time?

if we were tracking ALL fleeing (foxes and rabbits, etc) then that's something else. if we were tracking all animal movement period that'd be something else too.

when you buy Archery and craft bow and arrows, it's pretty disapointing to learn the arrow you put in a fox won't do much

maybe remove the boat/cliff aiming exploit, but if you manage to put an arrow in the animal then it moves slower, so you can combat without it running away

doesnt even need stamina just make em run at normal speed for a small burst and then speed 2 for the rest until it dies.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.
