Also, personally I would hate a KG system with max weight. I like the current system where you can just stack your inventory till it's full. It is just water running in PVP that is complete nonsense.

I am just proposing a short term solution for a tedious problem with close to no downside as far as I can see/hear.

Just limiting the water amount in inventory seems like a bad solution.
There are other ways to limit water consumption in pvp for sure.


Enlighten me. I cannot come up with an easier solution than this which only affects this specific problem.

But that would also fuck you over when running for slimes while mining. Also I don't think some running is bad in PVP.
Some moderate running could even help luring people into a trap as they cannot run away again as they run out of water.

Since buckets have been disabled from the inventory, the amount of waterskins/flasks a player can hold in inventory should be limited to 2 or 3 max (belt could make it possible to have like 1 or 2 more).

That way there is no bullshit like "I'm unable to have a 10l bucket in me backpack, but I can have 25 waterskins attached to my belt, that are filled with 3l of water each".

and why drinking while standing still is bad ?

you can make some defencive moves and drink same time...

so pvp will be more close combat
everyone run, run, then stop to drink
and while drinking they punch each other

Full bucket is disabled from inventory because it does not have lid. Waterskin is watertight.
