Only issue with trellis is that they are a pain to build efficiently.
Everything else is just waiting and doing other things. I don't mind the plants growing slow since they are slow for everyone else too.

We should be able to build trellis like palisade. Extend button etc.

next wednseday

-trellis now cost twice as much and removing crops from them costs 1000 energy, but you get a stable +1 quality increase per cycle

...also, it takes 3 minutes to gather 1 crop from trellis. Not sure if meaningful.

Sounds like the bold part would make it worth it. Energy cost could be circumvented by destroying them if needed, but in case they auto-increase in quality that wouldn't be that often needed (maybe except for 'plant absurd amount of trellis crop' credo quests).

I agree that trellis should be placed like walls are, the "cornerpost" trellis should require the same mats plus a rope, and it looks like the normal trellis but it has a rope going from the top to the ground at a 45* angle

also they should remain stackable like they currently are so we can get 3-5 trellis per tile.

some trellis crops, like peppers, are Bot only. meaning only bots can efficiently harvest and prepare them. villages have acres of pepper trellis's as they want to pepper each and every food they eat.

I would suggest reducing cost of pepper to 2 drupes from 5. Also you should rethink allowing people to pepper EVERYTHING. they probably should only be able to pepper things that allow spices.

From my experience in this game, they don't. it's too much of a hassle--between the growing speed on a trellis, the amount needed to make one ground pepper, and the processing steps and time. Most players will have some, and use it on primary foods, but not everything.

Should that change? I don't really care. I'd love it if it'd be easier to grow and manage, but I can live without tons of it, too.

as a hermit i have 10 rows of 20 trellis of pepper o.0 i dont care about increasing q (its like40-50) i just want pepper to get the most of those few items i can eat efficiently a day
