I think this game in first person will be hell.

Why? I don't play any other MMOs in first person other than Planetside.

elmapa wrote:have the same graphics as stranded deep

/facepalm Then go play that game? I love the graphics here. The male and female character models need reworks, I think, but that's also a part of the charm of the game.

We've hashed this discussion dozens of times over the years. Those of us that have been here for a while probably don't want to do it again... at least I don't. If you get no more replies than what you've gotten already on this part, then this is why, and I'd suggest doing a bit of homework on it.

I agree with the steam ok thing, but the first person immersion that gives a survival game you don't get it with isometric view, a good client and a considerable graphics improvement with more modular constructions. For me it is one of the best games I have played in my life but this way we would be talking about one of the best games in history for everyone, if that does not improve it will stay in the 1000-2000 people and will never go up

Well i cant say anything about the player count, but one statistic i have observed is as such.

Screenshots of world 9 - 242 pages
Screenshots of world 10 - 234 pages
Screenshots of world 11 - 79 pages
Screenshots of world 12 - ongoing

Other than this statistic, i do feel that the core community is becoming less active.

Yeah, and many of us will quit playing because of this. Such theories are full of a lot of "what ifs" that can't really be answered. Let the devs make the game they want. You're free to make the game you want. (I know of at least one sandbox game that "tried"... they're not around anymore.)

The death knell of Ultima Online was when they split the servers into Felucca and Trammel - PvE and PvP servers. The sense of a real world with real danger was broken. It was an endless grind with no payoff in PvE land and a retarded arena deathmatch on the PvP side.

I've always felt that Haven and Hearth is the MMO that Ultima Online was meant to be.. and I too will quit playing if they take the danger of PvP away.. even though I've never been on the winning side of a PvP fight except once (and that was a group vs group fight and I was hardly the deciding factor)

This can be attributed at least partially to the move to Discord.

Several factors, really, Discord. Siege/raiding mechanics, length of world. W9 was around 9-10 months (IIRC), w10 was 2 years, w11 was one year.

I think everyone here has that "little thing" that they don't get from other games, and that's why we stick around. I think I can say those of us that have been here more than a year or two would like to see something different done with the game that never gets done, and probably won't.

Ok.

Hnh in first person
Maybe you should ask for haven 3 instead, hmm it should be more like minecraft, league of legenda and some other random games.

PS just turn on Bad Camera shift+c or something, if you zoom in close enough you get first person gameplay.

I do not understand why you laugh, Wurm online is in the first person and is very similar to Haven and Hearth for its difficulty and complexity, the graphic improvement could be done with Unreal Engine 4 since it is also free, hiring two programmers to do that update and them while you keep updating the game. When it is ready to launch, the server is closed for a month or as long as it takes and they launch it, what a great expansion it would be hehehe. Hafen Make it stay as legacy: lol:
