+1 Would be really nice for farmers. Right now our farmer can't do anything useful during winter.

Firemaking and fires have enough content by now.
Better focus on other areas of the game.

Troll idea or not, it's not as simple as "changing a value in a spreadsheet takes less time than taking a sip." The assumptions in that statement imply you have the spreadsheet open and are looking at the cell you need to edit, not code in a system for changing the cell as the seasons change. Would it take much time? No... maybe an hour, tops, to code it, a day to debug it (if even that long for either).

Not horrid, but how much more coal does a smelter running at 1500 C use in summer compared to winter? Must have some research on this. It's not your backyard charcoal grill we're talking about. OP is slacking here.

During normal temperatures of around 22 Celsius with some assumptions the average load of a smelter in Haven would require 6.8 lbs of coal. During winter it increases to a whopping 6.91. since we use 12 things of coal we should require 13 units of coal!

Assumptions -

Bar of iron 20 lbs, BTU/f*lb of iron is 0.12, average btu of a lb of coal is 15k.
Temperature during winter is 0 Celsius while normal temp would be 22 Celsius.

Chasing pointless realism that adds +1 coal requirement.
Possibly opening up the need to consider temperatures on every new addition to the game just because a precedent has been set.
But since you already opened up in another thread how you are just stirring the pot because you are bored I doubt you actually care what happens to the game.

We dont chase realism lol, because in rl world you'd need 1 more charcoal it doesn't mean that in haven we can't have +12more charcoal during winter...
