On that same line of logic with nets. The net caught the fish, I did not catch the fish. I should not get catch for grabbing a fish out of a net if the net caught it. However that is not how this game works. Net counts as catching a fish despite no work being done on the player aside from initial creation of the net.

You build a place net yourself, so this net is extension of your catching.
