Remove animal nodes make it random, that alone will give hermits a massive boost in what to sell, and it'll make hunting persistent a little longer throughout the world.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

Random quality animals on hunt without any or minimum local influence looks really good for me

I enjoy other parts of this game. I enjoy actually playing this game.
But you know what I despise in this game? The need to play it for 25 hours a day and use 50 bots for 50 annoying things that require non-stop attendance. And don't you dare tell me "yOu dOn'T hAvE tO pLaY tHe gAmE lIkE tHaT", while you cry when you get sieged by a single hearthling.

"actually playing this game" means : building, discovering, trading, developing characters, hunting, etc. ;) :)

An alternative to the rabbit/chicken thing in the OP could be wild animals scaling with topQ livestock sometimes. Would make hunting always relevant depending on the rarity, since extracting tippytop quality products from livestock is kinda difficult. Depending on rarity, having topQ livestock would still be rewarding because you could use dank bones on more frivolous things, but not a defacto monopoly on quality.

Yes god, YES. THIS. Obnixous mechanics that affect my every day schedule unless I bot are not fun, they're so retarded. This entire thread has only valid points, I don't understand why stuff still is the way it is.

maybe when jorbtar are done doing all the client QOL improvements they plan to implement we can start touching base on revamping existing content and gameplay loops
i dont care about having a new world or getting brand new content for a while if it means that what we already have in terms of base client features and gameplay content is built on and made less of a pain in the ass

I've never understood why people consider spam hunting better than node checking in terms of bot requirements to be competitive. It has the added benefit that anyone can do it, but I can't see how it'd be less "bot mandatory" to be competitive.

I guess it's a bit more interesting to do manually?

Both versions seem very bottable. If BIS bones come from whales/trolls, then those bots already exist and would be used regardless of their bone intake. If BIS bones come from mammoths then people will use arrays of alts logging in/out on mountains. If BIS bones come from bears/moose waypointing around on a snekkja would be the strat.

Personally, I find farming a node a lot less fun than actually exploring & bumping into other players, but my actual issue with bones is their exclusivity. How many people do you think actually saw Q700-800 bones this world? My guess is a very small minority. I would really like it if more people had access to cool stuff with lower barriers to entry. I feel like it would make the world feel more lively, regardless of how the exclusivity is lowered.

If topQ bones from random hunting were a thing, though, my guess is top autists wouldn't be botting them. They'd be buying them in bulk from the plebs.

Not only this, but it's really unfair when someone gets a q400 angler spot right next to their level 1 minehole from the start of the world, and other people can't go past q200 with the first 30 angler spots they check.
At least without quality nodes we have equal chances, which would also work nice with removing +500% quality nodes.
