+1 I would enjoy this option of gaining energy without FEPs if one chooses.

Add antimony, a minable metal, and antimonial cups that can be filled with wine. Sipping wine from an antimonial cup will cause food to provide no FEP or hunger for a period of time.

Solves the issue a bit late though though.
