Would be nice if the devs had telemetry on this kind of data so see how often these are just abandoned instead of completed. i'd be willing to bet its over 90% abandoned.

There is no quote obviously. It was something left for the players to discover, like many many other things. If you are not willing to take my word for it, then you can test it yourself. It is not like I figured all the nuances and numerical values myself after all.
Alternatively, you can continue complaining about it hoping for a change. I do not particularly want to defend these type of quests, but for me they are not even in top 25% of "non-doable" credo quests, so it is weird for me asking for these specific ones to be changed. <Craft X meteorings> had been abandoned 100% of the times, I bet.

That's fair, can agree that there are worse. IMO all 90%+ abandon quests should be removed, i just hope they actually collect statistical data on this stuff. Last world scholar gave me a "study yule star" 6 months before it was even december for the first time of that world.

i like how the worldly thread also has the worldly saltycrate posts about how he's some schizoid rainman that has unlocked the proper experience cycling

and also as someone who can relatively reliably farm XP events (barring the localized ones not really sure how the fuck you're doing them tbh) i think the more arcane and obscure mechanics to the game are the absolute least fun shit on earth if it means gating someones progress based on how much tinfoil they have on their head

Yeah. I remember those threads as well. Tbh, I find it a little humorous seeing the same complaints year after year without any attempts to actually learn how the system works. It is not that hard.

no, it's not excessively hard, but it's really obnoxious and a whole lot less than "fun."

These particular ones are bit more hard, yeah. My anecdotal knowledge about them is that all the specific localized resource events share single cooldown. So if you want to trigger specific one for the credo, then, in addition to getting a number of experience points, you have to dodge seeing all other resources, before you check if you farmed enough exp at the needed one. No Jorb quote for it as well, just my personal observation.

Or maybe its just a shit system that the majority of people just fucking hate that it has a place in one of the credo questlines?

^ Facts tbh.
