Double the volume of smoke houses, half the FEPs on sausages, produce x2 as many of them.
Satiations will reduce the number of animals you need to hunt for sausages. Problem solved without buffing a food that doesn't need it?

Either way this sausage problem you have is a positive for the game.
You forcing yourself to grind for optimal stat gain means more good people of the hearthlands(hermits, peaceful villages and sprucecaps) get to live on without having to deal with excessive wounds from being KO'd by a player like you who has nothing else to do.
Sausages are balanced and even leaning towards being a little too powerful.
There is always a way to compromise by nerfing sausage to give half gains if you get 2 sausages per craft.
Reduces the need for meat while keeping the balance.
