No, prostitutes and gambling addicts amongst other degenerates will be euthanized forthwith after the party seizes power

How would adding more single target moves stop the old zerg meta that had existed up until storm of swords?

DonVelD wrote:OP is blowing this out of proportion. In order to kill someone you have to correctly guess their hp to chip them down in order to make it so their hhp is below 80%, then a cleave deals up to 60% hhp (only on murderous rage which is very very risky) and then concussion damage deals up to 20%.

You know how hard it is to actually pull off? You rely on your GUESS on how much hp they have, actually pull off a 100% cleave (they can Zig-zag ruse down to 20% openings) AND you pray that the concussion rolls for 20%.

Most of the times the person screws up entirely and dies because of unrelated reasons (AKA drowning etc)

Another reason could also be that the person completely doesn't know the combat mechanics. Is that to be blamed on the PVPer?

Even more so: You can still kill with SoS, its still very good, but in a better place.

There should be an ingame tutorial instead.

PS Its a message to Jorb/Loftar. I won't argue with OP because it has been talked about multiple times and the OP will just say "no youre lying" every time.

He doesnt know any better anyway.

Regardless of how hard you claim it is, this discussion isn't about how hard or easy it is. This discussion is about where the meta should be. Maybe you should consider that the meta for combat shouldn't always be focused on getting those big kills by dogpiling one player, because thats how it existed before SoS.

In fact, i would prefer not even to talk about SoS, because I don't feel strongly about SoS, only about what it has done for pvp in W15. Namely in dealing with the zerg rush meta. I would be fine in replacing it with something else, as long as it fulfilled the function of stopping zerg rushing.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Your thread is dishonest and not frank.

You want the cleave meta to be gone because B12s are expensive and your zerg cant afford it for everyone.

You said it before.

Kito flex opknock cleave fighting is very satisfying and requires multiple players to pull off a good strategy to win, while leaving any other (sting) strategies also viable.

Just adapt to what is good and enjoyed by most instead of whining for the game to adapt to your laziness.

You'll enjoy the skill curve. Go out of your comfort zone.

About Storm being 1 button pvp, I don't necessarily like that either.

And I get that there is a lot of text to read, but I didn't mention the cost being a factor in this thread, because I specifically made this thread to discuss two issues. I'll explain it once again for you. This discussion is about where the meta should lay. Either going for Ko's vs going for kills. It's also about the effect of aoe on the zerg meta, and whether or not it's more healthy for the game.

I know it's hard for you, but if you don't have an opinion on the topic, or don't understand what's being written, please let other posters take your place.
