Theres nothing to find it will show you the location once you use the magic. You are just too lazy to walk one direction. Maybe you need to ask one of your friends to chase you so you have motivation to go in a straight line.

Thingwalls being annoying to find is a pretty poor way to try to create "regions" restricting travel. I don't like that angle as an argument. Sense thingwall being better would be nice though.

Thingwalls should at least be kinda in the center of their province. Hopefully next world.

I do think it's odd that they changed the generation in a way that caused thingwalls to get pushed further inland near beach/skargard instead of always being generated next to bodies of water. I liked being able to sail around and know that if I'm looking for a thingwall I will be able to find it by travelling along the water's edge.

I like the current setup of finding them~ i dont want to just walk into a place and instantly get access~ i hate people teleporting, teleport makes shit way to easy for pvpers to be knocking on my door 24/7.
I find thingwell pretty easily..

Every time somebody who said something similar has convinced Jorbtar to change something it has made the game demonstrably worse. Lunarious/borka said nearly 1:1 the same thing over and over for months in the lead up to world 11, and it's the reason there hasn't been a major trading hub since world 10.

i mean, fuck major trading hubs. the worldroads back then, basically made all distance meaningless, and your own village centre, was proppably farther away in travel time from your house, than the market.

also , you wage war against every wannabee tradinghub, infiltrate them in discord and throw their hides on the ground day 1.

@Jorb daily reminder community fair was the primary reason that world 10 was so beloved, and CF only existed because of easy travel. Ease of access to fast travel is good, and the only people who don't like it are a weirdo tiny minority schizophrenic perpetually terrified people who pretend to want to be traveling merchants or something

We can have a big market and a belowed world again once you stop gatekeeping with bugraids, griefing and lies. No one wants to deal with a parasite like you looming over any community project so its less likely to happen.

Traveling is super easy this world, you can create an alt to teleport to someones charter stone in 1-2 days now depending on your level of development.
I think its fair that thingwall travel is more time investment to get into.
There are very few people who want to go to every corner of the map regulary anyway.
