Outlaws have to pay for their crimes and they accepted risks. If outlaws ask to cut them slack for their random misfortune, the devs should reinstate a character those outlaws killed. As simple as it gets.

Surely we can agree that at least on server crash characters should be logged out. Else that takes the in game consequences and turns it into a sort of IRL punishment.

The quality and integrity of the game server should never be included in your list of opponents, and it isn't fair to be punished for it. Just remove the character from the game world or move the character to hearth fire.

Why is there always some deranged abuse victim just screeching about "pvpers" in every thread lol. Outlaw affects the victims like you much worse. If you're being raided and I force you to KO 1a naked alts you're now outlaw. I've killed at least 3 clueless hermits this world who obviously didn't understand how it works. I remember killing a guy in his hermitage and saw him 30 min later logged back in he was so confused about wat happened. Another guy was in a bed outside I pull a boar through village.
Especially early game wen ur not established I forced a WB player to get outlaw in his cave with an alt. No pvper has died from outlaw AFAIK this world lol its just hermits.

Edit: incase I wasn't clear I like the outlaw mechanic... but Any situation which isn't someone having got to your hf to kill you is most likely a bullshit unintended situation. Which is most of the cases and is very dumb in a game with 1 year character investments.
