Why not make forum time count against game time

Postby Redlaw » Fri Aug 28, 2015 11:56 pm

Well if your going this way, why not make it so people cant even post with out burning up thete game time? Would keep troll down on the forum alot. I mean most would get what an hout a month to do much anyway.

Isn't the shop already working?
Haven't people already?

If it was a joke, there would be a trolling message at the end of the paying method...

I think it(the price) may be a bit too high on everything for the time being, and I also think there should be a "permanent sub" box you could buy, to the tune of like 50 or 60 dollars, the price for a normal AAA title.

I also think you should allow for more default time, as has been stated earlier...people need a bit more time to get into the game, even 72 hours would be acceptable in my opinion. Perhaps also a little more time per month, maybe 16-20 hours?

Glad to see you finally getting paid! When I have a steady job, I will be happily supporting you guys for any price, you have truly created a wonderful game world, and you do deserve to be compensated for providing so much quality entertainment for so many people! KUDOS J & L!

this is a java game, not a AAA.
people are getting used to paying for stuff we wouldn't 5y ago because of steam, it's absurd.

If they wanted money for the game, they should have just put the damn thing on steam and sold it for 10-15 dollars.
And make people buy the game to actually play it.

The game is in alpha, it's laggy the servers crash constantly, if they wanted a pay to play system it should be no more then $5.

The game were already free, this change of model is bad to the game.

With just 48 hours new players can't get into the game and wont pay 15 dolars to a game they didn't get a chance to play at it fullest, older players are going to stop playing eventually...

I understand that the game has to be profitable so they can continue to developing it, but this is out of the line.

I'm a huge fan of the game, I spent over 30 dollars on Salem and i were happy about it.
But pay to get Playtime? No.

How am I supposed to get my friends into the game with this paywall?

I'm so upset at this that I can't even make a proper post.

I think loftar is trolling. I don't believe it's actually real.

Of course it's not a joke. Believe it or not, but not even we can survive on air indefinitely.

Subscription thinking

Postby Littleamnesia » Fri Aug 28, 2015 11:58 pm

thinking about game time...
25 minutes/day for free acc and 50 for is not too much. IMO you should think about rising limits to something around 40/60h per month
good idea for corpo players who want to play a while and enjoy game without paying.

some thinking about prices...
prices are not too high but I had little confusion about "Game Time"
IMO this is the time you are online. 15usd and 13euro is not too much for ~720 hours of play.
it means 0,021$ per hour of play with one month packet and 0,0125$ with one year... Good Value for corpo and Sunday players.

Subscription gives you unlimited game time during packet time.
You can play as may a s you want with only 10$ with month packet (0,014/h of game) and 0,008$ per hour with one year subscription
Good Value for Gamers and Botters ^^

According to WoW monthly prices this is good value for good game. (imo the only thing that needs "re balance" is playtime for free/registered players)

I believe that both players and J&L will understand this post ^^

P.S. mods Please, delete all flame and spam from this topic if you can

Why would I pay for a game like this when I can get something better? Honestly I was looking forwards to playing it with my community of bros and messing around but dang, I'm not paying for this. I mean why would I pay for game time that's just going to be used in a game about sitting around and waiting for things to be built; aka paying to watch your character stand there for a little while and get stat boosts from it multiple times a month. I had fun playing around with it before but I don't think I wanna.. like.. put money into this.

How's about we all find another game? We don't HAVE to play this. Let's just move on and find another experience. It'll all be cool.

Unless this is all a ruse, which in that case I don't see why we shouldn't check this game out if it's free.

Or at least $15 every 6 month, nonsense most players will just quit and then you have lost the only time to make a reasonable income with this game
