When I managed to get some Fell Slash on my finger, I was told to not go to sauna until stitches were removed. That meant two weeks without sauna.

In that case problem was that the stitches essentially creating tunnel of exposed Dermis and had I gone to sauna, all the sweat (and grime that sweating removes from your skin) would've gotten into it. I presume sauna would be useful for cleaning the wounds before binding them, but I don't know how this would play in HnH without making the wounds system (even) more complicated.

Doesn't have to be accurate just like you can just smelt random gold ore and make plates to eat from.
Making wounds not as harsh is what the game needs.
This healing sauna should be able to be built by random noobs because they suffer the most.

It shouldn't be, that is why you throw water on the hot stones.

Reason why is, your stitching's are bound tight...a Sauna is NOT dry lol, very humid and a ton of moisture in the air.....when your skin gets humid or ....moist...... your skin shrivels up and moves around...thus if you had stitches in, the stitches would lose their "grip" and tension, and most likely, they'd fall out or....if they are disintegrate-able ones, they'd dissolve.

You are right tho, your sweat would get into it and you don't want that....due to the many toxic bacteria that lives on your skin, would get swept up in that sweat and then "leak" into your wounds. :)

Internet tells me sauna is at 5-10% humid. This is not true or this is not dry?

Relative humidity should be at 60-70%, which is a lot of humidity in those temperatures (60-80c).
With less than 50% humidity I cannot imagine sauna to be a very pleasant experience.

Wikipedia say Finnish sauna is dry. I think you must edit this article as duty to country!

I think you also must send mails to Google regard this. There is a lot of misinformation on the net it seems.

It doesn't strike you as racist to tell a FINNISH PERSON how saunas work while you live in North America?

I do not know how they work, so I go to internet to find out. This is why I tell this Finnish man that some other men do mistellings about his culture, so he can fix them.

If you're in a dry sauna, you're on fire.

It's called a Sweat Lodge... at least if you're one of the Native American tribes that practices the ritual.
