I'd pay 15 $ a month for this game as long as I was pretty sure there were little botting/alting going on.

Maybe Locking 1$ on a credit card and then releasing it in 24 hours could give you checked first and last name of a person.
Then you can implement - 1 person 1 account and keep free accounts
Although I'm not sure how much info paypal gives back to a seller.

Obviously - friend's or family member's cards may be used, but possible alt amount could be reduced from unlimited to 3-5 per player. Which makes permaban of even bot char more problematic.

Just to summarize
There are 3 ways to prevent botting. And they work better when you spend some time on each that separately.

1) Software part - integrity checks, obfuscated code, proprietary clients, guarding processes (PunkBuster, Cheat Death, Frost etc). Goal is to make bot writing consume more effort than advanages it gives
2) Manual labor - db querying, evidence gatherin, complaints analysing - al sorts of investigations, trials and punishments
3) Game design - making bot advantage lower. Stat cap is crappy solution. Stat cap + 1 account per person - better, but still crappy. Decrease the bonus from char progression and equipment Q - even better but even this is not the best.

goodluck with that, most of the currency that comes from this game to jorb/loftar is coming from botters who pay for subs or botters who get good ql items in order to sell it for subtokens which makes more money for them. What you fools are asking for is a game that is extremely low profit and even lower player count considering the amount of mindless tasks in this game.

Mistakes happen. Mistakes with things like this would be major issue.
Also, before making botting bannable offense. Fix game mechanics that force people to use bots. Such as farming.
And whatwould be line between botting and non botting, how much do I have to "automate" to be banned? These are hard questions.

I would probably quit hnh atleast temporarily if they would do this.
I dont have enough time to do all shit with default client ways.

That's entirely speculative. I can assert, equally as confidently, that almost none of the money comes from botters and is mostly driven by casuals and fresh players trying to take advantage of the subscriber bonuses. Neither assertion has any evidence and thus isn't a valuable means to shut down other arguments.
