Will consider.

Not fully. Sometimes the amount of clicks is a bit much though, I don't want to develop carpel tunnel from growing me some pumkin's. The wheelbarrel thing is kind of nice as long as it stays with pumkins. I understand why it isn't nice from a developer stand point but from a player stand point it really is just a qol thing. Still have to make stockpiles and have that interaction. You just wont have to click 400 times to clear a 10x10 plot of pumkins'.

I see no reason to limit wheelbarrow pickup to pumpkins, I think it would be a nice addition as a general mechanic - and it would be slower than mass-pick to inventory as random movement with a wheelbarrow adds delays.

-1 because this is a very true statement at this point in time. Maybe this will change when Jorbtar implement the food system changes and rework.

If farming is made faster, I'll feel obligated to increase the size of my fields proportionately.
My production village has enough big ugly fields as is :(

Yeah, heard many farmers quitted the game just becasue of sheer amount of work they had to do alone, because so many called "warriors" usually only waited to eat the shit that was produced without much helping. This is basically where bots wins over people when it comes to sheer quantity and time spend.

This is exactly why it should be done. This is why we have mass harvest and mining.

You can't stop the botting. A developer can disincitivize it, they can penalize those that bot (if they can catch them), they can slow down the bots by forcing them to work at the same pace as everyone else. There's a lot that can be done. Don't penalize the average player by not adding a good idea just "because bots."
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

The *process* of harvesting and planting could, in theory, be sped up with the application of tools and equipment one supposes. It's also relevant to note that the size of the plots you're working, the time spent to work them, and the size of your harvest all have roles to play in the size of one's village due to the size of one's fields, etc. I feel like these are all relevant mechanics which need to be considered in the reduction of anything to do with farming. The actual growth times and such are much too quick as it stands, especially when you consider how they affect the advancement of quality. That, I believe, is another topic however.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
