im bad at programming, but imho it will burnout the server. at latency 500ms it will be not acceptable and at latency 50ms it will bang bang

No, my dear friend, you are the retarded one. The emphasis is on the "with a console controller" part. It's possibly the clunkiest movement I've seen in any game's combat. Also, in case you've only watched Boston fights which are not representative of actual combat at all, Salem is all about stats too because it's pretty much impossible to land a hit on someone trying to evade in open terrain, so basically combat boils down to who runs out of phlegm first. And there's no tweaking it, because the core system of losing control of your character for seconds at a time whenever you attack is shit (note how DotA doesn't do this). Haven combat on the other hand has sound core rules (except maybe IP), even if the concrete implementation is a bit lacklustre.

Salem was worse for that actually. The person with the most hp and yellowbile(?) won because after you were out of energy you couldn't even fight back. You could literally just dodge hits and win by default

I think there should be some change to the graphics and then change to Mount and Blade fighting style.

Maybe instead of that: once a group wants to fight another one they enter another server "room". There they fight till dead without 2 many stuff overloading the server and player side. Once the fight is done winners can bash or.raid or simply kick out raiders.
