The fact that it is a purely theoretical possibility should not make it an immanent necessity. But you do understand it, don't you.

Unfortunately, this is true.
The situation will be similar to the addition of LGBT to GTA. Those who are against LGBT were the most excited, because they will have the opportunity to "interact" with it in different ways.
There will be another (number of skin colors - 1) reason to kill someone. It will be the same as what some people do now, but more "visible."
Oddly enough, different skin colors will divide people more than unite them. And as for white—well, we're not racists—it's the same color as everyone else. And the era and location don't allow for blue and green people here.
The game has plenty of customization options, and the most important thing about a person isn't what they look like on the outside, but who they are on the inside.

One day, a New Russian met a punk – ragged, painted up, with a green mohawk instead of a haircut.
"You're something, brother!" exclaims the New Russian. "Why do you need all these bells and whistles?
"Well, you see, I want to stand out," replies the punk.
"Uh... Look, I'm wearing a jacket. It's a Cardin, it costs ten thousand dollars. Here's the watch on my wrist. A Rolex, five thousand dollars. The tie is from Verstache, just a trifle, only a thousand dollars. The shoes are custom-made – eight thousand... You need intelligence to stand out, you garden head, intelligence!"
My english is bEd.

I think it will be a great idea.
Imagine all the emergent gameplay that will result from this.
I will be going around the hearthlands trying to free the slaves from plantations.

I wouldn't mind this, but it opens up a lot of further questions pertaining to the technical construction of the character model which would require some amount of work to answer.

I wonder if reading comments to the latest patch notes (about watermelon) changed some minds on different colored hearthlings being much more of a "sowing the wind" situation than previously appreciated
