I love maps, especially old ones, but I find the lack of maps even more interesting. It's a pity that odditown map exists, it breaks a little the magic around haven. But well, at least you can use it a base for your realm map.


Yes I know how hard maps are in real life, I have seen them mapped through GIS. Point is, we also don’t have tiles or border cairns in real life either and even in those times there were still tools to map and draw out the land which we don’t have. On top that they weren’t limited by view distance and could saw between these two mountains is my land and fight over disputes. But hafen isn’t like that. Instead we got cairns which set definitive borders and areas that we must expand to claim as our own. We can’t just draw over some map every day for 24 hours on end. Not to mention we don’t have a player count to support this or realistically anyone wanting to spend time to do this 24/7 for any reasonable sum of gq.
