Yup. I'm a new player who started playing HnH about a month ago. Yesterday i spotted this funky thing on water and i was thinking that's maybe some kind of natural resource. Pushed right click on it and what the hell is going on. Like I'm taking dmg from some really pissed of beaver and i can't do anything! Like nothing! Ok, he gets me down, lets tp out fast! Noooop, not this time lil newbie... You will die here. That's the end of your story. I get up, and beaver who waited all this time by my body beats me again. Then i got revelation, I'm siting on a boat on a ground... Moved out from boat Ctrl + Lpm, then lifted boat and moved out in last chances... of course now I'm losing my stamina by swimming in the middle of the lake. Now I'm not sure did the boat was floating on water or i had to put it there, but that's the second deadly situation. But yeah, i did it and my horror was finally over.

The whole design of this thing is bad. Like really, really bad. As Lojka said its just a death trap for all newbies like me. You really should do something about this Jorb. Like auto take off from boat when you enter this dungeon, and don't spawn mobs in first room where you don't even know whats going on and that you are in dungeon and what the hell is dungeon. Also you don't know that you can't use tp to help yourself. Some kind of info that you entered a dungeon and tp is off will be a smart thing here. Also when you leaving with boat you should be siting in it, not swimming near your floating boat.

I hope you will read this and reconsider your choice about doing nothing by this unfriendly, unintuitive thing that makes ppl leave this game after death without their fault.

It's a death trap for experienced players, too. You never know what you're walking into... if someone else jumped in and tried to do it and failed leaving an overspawned room or the first time someone has walked in. There are technical issues that need to be resolved, too.

Think of it more like wandering across something new in a rogue-like you've never played before. Do you brave it and see what it actually is, or skip it and "wait till I'm stronger?"

But there is nothing to think about. Its just badly designed feature and it need to be fixed. In most rogue-like games you know mechanics before you end badly. Also, rogue-like games in most cases have max few hour gameplay. You don't lose your few months in game time :) From what source in game i should know that this thing is a dungeon and i need to shift click it to see whats going on? There's no such info.

Based on what you said about possibility to overspawn dungeon for other players this part sounds also wrong. Like this whole thing need fixes.
