I don't see why there is such an issue with my suggestion then, if it results in more people trying to kill each other that would seemingly be a good thing, whether or not they could actually be killed instead of simply being knocked out I think is beside the point. Which leads me to another question, what do most players consider to be the fun part of pvp? I can't imagine it's the current combat system that is fun so I would have to assume it's the risk of losing your own character that goes along with the chance to take away someone else's. When you are victorious it is a great feeling, but if many players are going to these fights without Rage anyways what are they really risking? And are they actually having fun or are they simply there to be another body because that's just how it is?

Group combat is kinda fun, at least when your teammates aren't just screaming retards and actually coordinate stuff. 1v1s are boring stat checks though.

Shit talking in the pvp discord is the real pvp.

This game is made on abuse of the systems in place, abusing the rage system is just par for the course. You don't really lose much in group fights by not getting rage. Stats are more important.

What might work better then or what would be the alternative, I know you would prefer if the game just had permadeath plain and simple with none of this ridiculous Rage and Non-Rage character stuff but I honestly don't believe jorb and loftar have any intent on going back to that. The change towards Rage was obviously an attempt to appeal to the casual players and they did see higher numbers for awhile, in my opinion, because of it.

Oh yes it's so cowardly to take measures that prevent a person from losing significant effort. That isn't cowardly, it's smart. The game mechanics allow for it and so they use it, just as you would with anything else in combat to gain an advantage over someone.

it would be smart if it was effective, but it isn't cuz they lost the meteor despite having more people on their side

Big deal what are you guys selling in your shop now like q200-250 anvil and hammer, I'd guess you're closing in on 300+ or already there on your personal anvil and hammer which could be spiraled out from the qualities you're selling anyways. Saving a character with a decent amount of LP in to it is still worth more than that to me.
