Gilding effects on capes that have hoods should be doubled. Just saying.
Maybe op? I don't think so, at least we would get lot of people with capes, which are cool!

I thoug¥ht about this, i think the caps need a more intersting mechanics. Lowering the hood removes the head slot but yoy lose the buff % the cape gives.

Base 10ql

Wolf gives agi 0.5%, ua/mc 0.5%, str 0.5
Lynx gives agi 1.5% ua 0.5%
Bear gives Str 1.5%
Angler gives per 1.5%, dex 0.5%
Ranger cap exp 0.5% mark 1% per 0.5%
Walrus con 1.5% ua/mc 0.5%
Deer lore 1% farmering 1%

just make every cape work like the druid's cape with the toggleable hood, which provides a different bonus


though i really like the idea of doubling the gilded stats on capes too

ah yes the druids cloak, the most highly used and coveted item in the lategame, where people swoon and rave for the stealth bonus on the hood

so you mean like, every cape item currently existing only occupies the "Cape" slot, and the "Head" slot becomes purely optional? that kind of detracts from the aesthetic a lot imho, but so do cash shop hats already re: capes
